Our selective laser sintering (SLS) technology allows us to produce a wide variety of high-performance components using this powered material.
Using a CO₂ laser, we melt cross-sections of a CAD design in powdered material, aiming the laser automatically at points in space defined by a 3D model.
While being built, selective laser sintering parts remain encased in an unsintered powder bed, replacing the need for support structures. The material is then bonded together to create a solid structure.
Our SLS processes work well for functional prototyping, low-volume production and end-use parts. The build platform for our largest SLS machine is 26.5” x 13.5” x 20.”
